Here’s a quiet view of Inuvik in the November snow. We’re now hitting tmeperatures of minus 30 celcius.
do you recall what time they were taken? (we’re down to about 10.5 hours of daylight here in new york…)
Just before 3pm
I’m visiting Inuvik in the last week of Dec, wondering if it would be ok to just layer up. I have winter coat that is comfortable upto 3C(without thermal, just T inside.), fall coat comfortable up to 7C, another thin coat comfortable up to 10C, long sleeves, thermal undershirt, mitts. For below, long john, linen pants, ski pants, wool socks, snow boots(water repellent not resistant. Should I be worried about that?). Would that be proper dressing or I’d be under-dressed?
I think you should be fine. Wear pyjamas under your clothing if you need to!
they make me think of the video of the snow storm posted last winter…..
Oh yes, we’re all waiting to see what this winter will bring!
