Comedian Sean Majumder recently travelled to Inuvik to perform at the 2010 Petroleum Show. His set was hilarious, and he made jokes about many local things such as the presence of so many Newfoundlanders in the north.
He also did a lot of classy stuff, like hang around and introduce the local musicians who played afterwards.
At the end of the show, he did a stunt for charity: Seeing how many people would pledge money to school breakfast programs, in exchange for him wearing a pair of the Norwegian Olympic curling team’s pants on stage.
Would you believe more than $2,000 were raised? What a great comedian and all-around guy.
