Here are some ravens photographed Saturday morning. (Because if there’s one thing this site needs, it’s more raven photos.)

It’s incredible these birds survive in the -30 windchill.

  1. 1st pic WONDERFUL!!! it translates well ,. the moon shot perspective.. TOTAL class.
    # 3 I can feel the COLD off the bird and the frost or snow on either side of its head is moving. it invokes the sense of survival and cold and the desire to transend the immediate harshness of its own reality.

  2. “When shall we three meet again, in thunder, lightning or in [minus forty degree weather]?”

  3. I just like the “vampire eyes” and red reflection on the third one.
